ASSESSORS CORNER
To the citizens of New Portland…
Just a quick note to let you all know
that I have changed my hours for the
Town Office. I will now be scheduled
in the office (or out and about in town)
every other Friday from 9-3 and the first
Saturday of the month
8-noon. I will still be available for
appointments also. To set up an appointment
please call the town office during regular
business hours at 628-4441 and leave
your name and phone # where you can be
reached with Alice or Stacie and I will
then contact you ASAP to schedule a meeting
with you. I'm sorry for any inconvenience
this may cause any of you and I will
do anything in my power to make these
new changes as convenient as possible
for us all.
Please take note that I have sent out
some postcards to some residents in town
that we need to schedule a meeting regarding
their c construction. If you receive
a postcard please contact me to set up
an appointment as not doing so may cause
your 2009 assessment to be wrong. So
far this year the assessments are moving
right along, even with all the crappy
weather we've been having, I'm hoping
to keep my commitment dates consistent
and be done by the middle of July so
please schedule any necessary appointments
now.
Have a great summer
